I don’t know about you but once I see some clear skies and feel the sun shining, I’m ready to pack away my winter coats, hats, and scarves far far far away in the storage under my bed… but alas when you live in climates where you can have one warm sunny day and the next a chilly cloudy day, you need to find the in between. The key here is that layering with those warmer clothes and incorporating some summer pieces will help bring you from those warm days to cooler nights.
Ahh yes the sun is out, there’s a slight breeze and you can finally take off that big coat and scarf for some fresh air! Here are 10 transitional pieces to wear this spring to help you look classic, smart and effortlessly stylish:
1. Button Down Shirt
This is the staple to have in your wardrobe really! I recommend an oxford shirt or a linen one to any woman anywhere in the world. It can be worn during all the seasons, it’s so versitale and it’s an awesome layering piece under a blazer or a knit worn with trousers, jeans or for a laid back summery look: some jean shorts or a midi skirt. The one below is a white one from H&M but I also like the blue or striped one.
2. Cigarette Trousers
Simple yet chic, for this style I would reccomend all three color ways which are biege, white and black. These pants are interchangable and can be worn up or down. These Zara trousers stop at the ankles and can be paired with loafers, white trainers, or strappy sandals.
3. Loafers or Slides
I think these shoes will look really elegant this spring and summer and can be worn with almost everything in your closet. Here are two from H&M and Asos that are just so lovely.
4. Blazers or Jean Jacket
The Blazer is a must-have in your wardrobe if you don’t already have one. A black one can literally be worn all year round and then you can choose lighter colors for spring and summer. Perfect to pair with a t-shirt and light wash jeans, a dress, a skirt, or even with the cigarette trousers. You will not struggle styling a blazer! Here are two I love this season. I’ve added an oversized jean jacket as well as it just so cool for warm weather over a flowy dress.
5.Wide Leg / Straight Leg Jeans
Well apparently the newest thing all over the internet is that skinny jeans are over and out of fashion but don’t you worry because this spring there are plenty of options. Let me introduce you to the best thing to happen in the jean world in awhile, the straight leg or wide leg jean! These are just so in right now. I love them paired with strappy sandals or just regular heels, they go with white trainers or converse as well.
6.Plain T-shirts or Tanks
These are basics that are just wonderful layering pieces. They can look casual or chic when paired with bottoms of any occaision. I’ve selected these two basics from Zara, one is a famous body suit that seems to be worn a lot over on Instagram. I would go for neutral colors as they are just so classic.
7. Light Knits
I’ve picked a more classic knit and a trendy one for this spring as they are both just so stylish. Spring is the perfect time to wear light weight knits over the simple basics like from above. They are beautiful with jeans or trousers, I even love them worn over the shoulders, it makes for a classic look. The knit vest is perfect all by itself or under a jacket, the biege color works so well with black jeans.
8. Accessories
These styles are very popular this season and I believe they are here to stay. The canvas bag and hair clip, and these two together make for a fresh combo, super chic and so effortless.
9. The Trench
Like the Blazer, a trench coat is an absolute must have in your wardrobe. It’s a timeless piece worth investing into as you will get plenty of use out of it both in Spring and in Autumn. It will come out year after year and although every season there are versions that are trendy, I recommend going with a classic beige double button.
10. The Dress
Last but certainly not least, a dress. Dresses are a favorite because they are the easiest and probably the most comfortable thing to wear during nice weather. Like last year, puffy sleeves have made a return and I don’t see this trend going anywhere soon. The dresses I’ve chosen are perfect for spring as they can be layered or on thier own. They are flowy and elegant, they are the perfect transitional pieces. The first dress is from New Look via Asos, it comes in several different color ways and I reccomend all of them, they’re gorgeous. The second dress from H&M is light and airy, perfect for a picnic or a special day with family.

I have been browsing on-line more than 3 hours nowadays, but I never found any fascinating article like yours.
It’s pretty worth sufficient for me. In my opinion, if all website owners and bloggers made good
content as you did, the net will be a lot more helpful than ever before.
